This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Futures Trail is always a glorious adventure, and everyone nearby loves skiing at Mount Sunapee. High temperatures at Crescent Lake during the long summer days are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's       with temperatures at Crescent Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. A common amount of rain falls here at Crescent Lake; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. There are fine sites to look at along the Slot Trail, and Crescent Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Northstar Campground is a nice local campground. You'll meet a lot of people from Keene here; on a delightful day                  you obtain a tremendous view of Coffin Hill from Crescent Lake. A glorious place to camp here at Crescent Lake is Crow's Nest The, and do go to Mitchell Pond, it's a lovely lake. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn Claremont is a magnificent place to spend a night or two, and the slopes of Ascutney are so inviting noone can resist. Having a tremendous time at Crescent Lake is easy. Sleeper Brook is a stream that you may run into while here, and while you're here you can play some golf at Claremont Country Club Country Club. So much entertaining stuff next to Crescent Lake, completely mind-boggling. If you need a spot to stay Holiday Inn Express SPRINGFIELD is a glorious choice.
