Now, you may assume that's a load but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Crane Neck Pond. Going for a hike on the Broken Boulder Smith Pond Trail is always a good adventure, and if you've had enough of Crane Neck Pond, Fifield Farm Pond is close by. The yearly rainfall       here at Crane Neck Pond is about average; during the month of May you get the most rain around here; the driest month is January. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this spot. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Gunstock, and get dripping wet paddling on Winnipesaukee River. This lake is so wonderful. On a brilliant day at Crane Neck Pond you can take a hike along the Onemile Trail; Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites TILTON is a great                  place to get some rest. Crane Neck Pond is a location with many visitors from Concord, and naturally Davis Brook is a scenic stream that is worth a visit. For you golfers we recommend close by Canterbury Woods Country Club, and whitewater paddling is great on Merrimack River. There is a tremendous hiking trail in the neighborhood of Crane Neck Pond called the Catamount Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Crane Neck Pond has to offer, you can camp at Silver Lake Park Campground. There's always Fifield Farm Pond Dam to explore next to Crane Neck Pond; if you need a site to stay Super 8 Tilton/Lake Winnipesaukee is a glorious choice. This lake is so wonderful. Spender Meadow is a perfect location, needless to say you could also visit Morrill Pond since you're here; it's not far at all. For the duration of the months of summer at Crane Neck Pond highs are mostly in the 80's with night lows in the 50's.
