     Hiking along the Monadnock Sunapee Trail is great fun; after a long day outdoors Days Inn Lebanon/Hanover is a good location to spend a night or two. Loon Lake Campground is a pleasant local campground; since you're here you can take a hike along the West Ridge Trail. You can never get enough of the brilliant skiing at Whaleback, and you don’t have to go far from Cranberry Pond to see the water at Bog Brook Dam.

   time here at Cranberry Pond. Cranberry Pond is not far at all from Lebanon, and Cranberry Pond is a good place to visit for more than one day, Crows Nest Campground is a good place to camp nearby. All through the long summer days here at Cranberry Pond, high temperatures commonly reach the 80's while overnight lows are usually in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Cranberry Pond. You'll wish  
               for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things at Cranberry Pond. Really wonderful skiing awaits you at Mount Sunapee; Best Western Sunapee Lake Lodge is a nice location to get some rest.
This lake is so wonderful. Palazzi Pond is a nearby lake that you could go to; if you're looking for a beach close by we recommend Dewey Beach. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Croyden Brook; do visit Bog Brook if you're here at Cranberry Pond. From a rainfall point of view Cranberry Pond is a pretty typical spot; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.
A lake close by is Bog Brook Reservoir; the top of Barton Hill is easily seen from Cranberry Pond. Sugar River has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot nearby, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Dartmouth Outing Club Trail.

I went to this mountain with my school and it was a really fun expiernce and I am planning to go back with my school some time soon....... resort developer RMR-Pacific, an affiliate of Pacific Group. Since then, total acreage has increased to 2,000 and plans call for 65 further acres of slopes.
Upon acquiring the mountain property, the new owners invested over $2 million into the resort for renovations including 14,000 feet of new snow making pipe, 25 new energy efficient snow guns, new snow groomers, a new Wonder carpet lift for beginners, chairlift improvements including reviving lift service to Spear Mountain, base lodge renovations including new carpet, the repair of steps and outside brick walkways, the addition of seasonal lockers and an outdoor fire pit, and adding two new restaurants.
The renovations did not stop there. In 2008, Ragged Mountain announced the addition of a new upscale dining establishment, additional snow-making capacity, and three all new terrain parks including one of the only all natural terrain parks in the East.
