Really delightful skiing awaits you at Pats Peak, and if you're a golfer then a pleasant nearby course is Duston Country Club Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Contoocook River, and on a delightful day you can take a hike along the Old Country       Road. A good spot to camp here at Contoocook River Reservoir is Cold Brook Campground; if the weather is brilliant, you can go for a hike along the Wilmot Trail. And if you're still looking for more outdoors cool things just keep reading. Ragged Mountain has glorious slopes and a friendly staff. Don't forget to take a pleasant little tour to Browns Brook, and if you need a place to stay The Henniker Motel is a pleasant choice. This lake is so wonderful.
