The amount of rain that falls at Contoocook River Reservoir is close to the national average; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. Camping at Contoocook River Reservoir is good fun, Emerald Acres is a good                  local campground, and why not stop by nearby Gridley River while you're here at Contoocook River Reservoir. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Contoocook River Reservoir with night lows in the 50's.
