Many people like to go to Connecticut River Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. During the warmest time of the year at Connecticut River Reservoir highs are commonly in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the glorious whitewater of Israel River, and camping at Roger's Campground is always a good experience. Going for a hike on the Loon Trail is always a wonderful adventure; a good place to camp here at Connecticut River Reservoir is Mountain-Lake Campground. At Connecticut River Reservoir you can make out Beech Hill; not far from Connecticut River Reservoir you acquire some fine water scenery at Connecticut Groveton Dam.
The Green Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Connecticut
River Reservoir gets a typical amount of rain; during August this area sees the most rain; February is when it's the driest. Be careful coming to the Green Mountains, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Dry warm beds await
you at Down Home Motel, and nearby you find the Shore Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail.
Yeah, come up here to the Green Mountains for a good time. You'll meet a lot of folks from Berlin here, and there's no such thing as
a bad day of skiing at nearby Bretton Woods. A tremendous place for whitewater paddling right next door to Connecticut River Reservoir is Upper Ammonoosuc River - West Branch, and the Moose Trail is a magnificent hiking trail close by.
