A picturesque lake like Upper Pond near Colleague Pond is a magnificent place to have a look at, and it's a nice idea to have a look at Warier Brook. A perfect spot for whitewater paddling close to Colleague Pond is Contoocook River; lakes are such peaceful places, why not pop by Long Pond. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have a good time. A great nearby hotel is The Henniker       Motel; Duston Country Club Golf Course is a golf course nearby. Gotta ski! Pats Peak is a great place to do that; there's pleasant hiking along the Old Country Road. Don't leave Colleague Pond without first going for a hike along the Monadnock Sunapee Trail, and a great place to camp here at Colleague Pond is Mile/Away Campground. The yearly precipitation here at Colleague Pond is about average; the month with most of the rain is November; the driest month                  of the year is January. This lake is so wonderful. Colleague Pond is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Rock' N Birch Campground is a nice local campground, and you can go for a hike on the Wilmot Trail. At Colleague Pond you always meet someone from Concord, and Best Western Sunapee Lake Lodge is a pleasant location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Very striking scenery and pleasant skiing is what you get at Ragged Mountain, and a magnificent panorama of lovely Buck Hill is available. If you go for the outdoors, you'll go for Colleague Pond. For the period of the months of summer at Colleague Pond temperatures are mostly in the 70's, and the overnight is a bit colder of course, regularly in the 50's.
