This lake is so wonderful. The Henniker Motel is a wonderful place to get some rest, and not far from Cold Pond you'll locate Mud Pond which is a picturesque lake. If the weather is gorgeous, you obtain a magnificent view of The Bulkhead from Cold Pond. There's so much to do here at Cold Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Kenwood & Evergreen is a splendid site for that. This lake is so wonderful.       There are other spots here than Cold Pond, for example Bog Pond, and if you came to camp Bear Mountain Rustic Campground LLC is a great location to do that. But wait, there's more fun stuff to do in the White Mountains. On a splendid day it's a glorious idea to spend the day at Wadleigh State Beach, and there is a glorious hiking trail nearby called the Wilmot Trail. Take a little tour to Cascade Brook since you're here at Cold Pond, and lots of people from Concord                  come here. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the White Mountains. There's some attention-grabbing stuff to see at Johnson Mill Dam near Cold Pond, and Warner River is a magnificent whitewater spot nearby. Very beautiful scenery and brilliant skiing is what you get at Ragged Mountain; after a long day outdoors Best Western Sunapee Lake Lodge is a good site to spend a night or two. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Cold Pond. Near Cold Pond you discover a golf course called Country Club of NH, and you can go for a hike on the Holt Trail. A normal amount of rain falls here at Cold Pond; during November this area sees the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. During the warm days of summer at Cold Pond highs are generally in the 70's; the overnight is fairly cooler of course, mostly in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; night lows at Cold Pond all through the wintertime usually descend into the 10's. All the outdoors amusing things in the White Mountains will keep you coming back over and over. A good place for whitewater paddling near Cold Pond is Smith River. Any time is a splendid time at Cold Pond if you love the outdoors.
