An attention-grabbing thing to explore close to Colcord Pond is Little River Dam; there's a forest here called The Oaklands. Fairfield Inn & Suites Portsmouth Exeter is a great site to get some rest, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Atlantic Ocean. This lake is so wonderful. Reservoir is in the neighborhood, and a golf course close by is Apple Hill Golf Club. Colcord Pond commonly gets a good deal of rainfall; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain; January is the month with the
least moisture. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Bradford, and if you came for an overnight stay Exeter Elms Family Campground is a great site to camp. For the period of the warmest time of the year here at Colcord Pond, high temperatures

For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Colcord Pond plunge into the 10's. The Green Gate Campground is a great campground nearby; there are some fine whitewater spots on Great Works River.
