Friendly Beaver Camp Ground is a brilliant local campground, and one of the dominant marks of the surroundings of Colby Pond is Cochran Hill. The skiing at Crotched Mountain is brilliant, and you'll come across a beautiful lake called Sandhill Pond. This is no site for people who don’t like to have a good time. River - South Branch; a quick spree to Black Brook is without doubt a perfect idea. There's wonderful hiking along the Mitchell Hill Road, and Hill - Brook Motel is a perfect location to get some rest. Colby Pond is a nice location
to visit for more than one day, Wildwood Campground is a nice location to camp nearby, and if you're here, you could also go to striking McGregors Pond. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go
whitewater paddling on Souhegan River, and if you need a place to stay The Henniker Motel is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Colby Pond without first going for a hike along the Old Country Road; you're sure
to run into some good people from Manchester-Nashua here. Colby Pond is a wet place that gets lots of rainfall; throughout the month of November you get the most rain around here, and September is the month with the least moisture.
