This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Mount Sunapee, and E.F. Lane Hotel is a good site to get some rest. Symonds Pond is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, also Village Pond Dam is worth going to if you're here. The Marlboro Trail offers hiking at its best, and this is a popular place for people from       Keene. Ashuelot River has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot nearby; do stop at Barrett Pond, it's a pretty lake. At Cohoos Pond during the days of summer highs are in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are frequently in the 20's, and nighttime lows all through the winter for Cohoos Pond tend to be in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful.
