Go to Coffin Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the White Mountains. These mountains rock, just explore all the fun things to do in the White Mountains. The skiing at Loon Mountain is wonderful, and dry warm beds await you at Stony Brook Motel and Lodge. Man, is there plenty of enjoyable stuff to do in the vicinity of Coffin Pond. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Sunset Hill Golf

| | Course. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Take a hike on the Mount Kinsman Trail; if you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ammonoosuc River. During the long summer days at Coffin Pond highs are commonly in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's with temperatures at Coffin Pond dipping down into the-10's through winter nights. This lake is so | |

wonderful. Stay the night at Fransted Camp Grounds, and Best Western White Mountain Resort is a fine spot to get some rest. While you're here at Coffin Pond you can take a hike along the Kinsman Pond Trail, and Gale River is a
tremendous whitewater spot close by. A day on the slopes of Cannon Mountain is just what you need, and there's some flowing water close by, Bowen Brook is a stream you can have a look at while you're here. Scrag Hill is clearly visible
from Coffin Pond, and if you've had enough of Coffin Pond, Mount Eustis Reservoir is close by. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Coffin Pond that you need to camp here for a while, 100 Acre Woods Campground
is a good place for that, of course you could also stop at Streeter Pond since you're here; it's not far at all. The annual rainfall here at Coffin Pond is about average; the month with most of the rain is August, and February is
the month with the least moisture. You definitely ought to go for the White Mountains. Have a delightful hiking adventure along the Fishin Jimmy Trail; Coffin Pond Dam has tremendous water scenery.
