A visit to Coffin Pond is always a good idea. Cannon Mountain has fine slopes and a friendly staff, and dry warm beds await you at Hillwinds Motel. Just can't get enough of the White Mountains. In the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ammonoosuc River. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Coffin Pond has to offer, you can camp at White Birches Camping Park. This lake is so wonderful. Gale

Summertime at Coffin Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. Mountain in the neighborhood. And if that's not sufficient there's loads more fun things to do in the White Mountains. An afternoon playing golf at Sunset Hill Golf Course is always a pleasure, and Coffin Pond is right by the Kinsman
Pond Trail. A typical amount of rain falls here at Coffin Pond; the month with most of the rain is August; the driest month is February. There's always Coffin Pond Dam to have a look at in the neighborhood of Coffin Pond. This lake is one of the great places here in the White Mountains.
