If you are in Coos county it's always a good idea to stop by Lakes of the Clouds. Be careful coming to the White Mountains, you might not ever want to return back home again. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Bretton Woods is near Lakes of the Clouds; you have to definitely pop by Ball Crag during your stay. Lakes of the Clouds is a good place of normal precipitation; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and February on the other

| | hand is the driest. That right there is a load of amusing things already but it goes on, the White Mountains has it all. Near Lakes of the Clouds you come across the Davis Path which is a good hiking trail, and paddling on Peabody River - West Branch is so much fun. trail nearby. Man, is there a heap of cool stuff to do near Lakes of the Clouds. If you need a place to stay Bretton Arms Country Inn is a splendid choice, and whitewater paddling is nice on Dry River. Seasons at Attitash is a
perfect spot to get some rest, and the snow is glorious at Wildcat. During the warm months here at Lakes of the Clouds, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter
are normally in the 20's, and overnight lows throughout the winter for Lakes of the Clouds tend to be in the 0's. Near Lakes of the Clouds you come across Burt Ravine which is a glorious place to stop at, and on a good day you can
take a hike along the Westside Trail. The summits of the White Mountains add much beauty to the neighborhood around Lakes of the Clouds, and Dry River Campground is a magnificent campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Stay
the night at Timberland Camping Area, and some nearby water includes Monroe Brook. If only every place had this much outdoors cool things, what a great globe it would be.
