    What a nice lake Lakes of the Clouds is. All year is a pleasant time in the White Mountains if you go for the outdoors. Dry warm beds await you at Bretton Arms Country Inn, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Dry River. This lake is so wonderful. Monroe Brook is a great local stream, and a day on the slopes of Wildcat is just what you need. Yeah, come here to Lakes of the Clouds for a tremendous time. Lakes are good;  
   Desolation Pond is a lake that's near Lakes of the Clouds; Lakes of the Clouds is right by the Oakes Gulf Trail.
For the period of the warmest time of the year at Lakes of the Clouds temperatures are typically in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. During the wintertime highs are generally in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Lakes of the Clouds. The Westside Trail offers hiking at its best, and Ball Crag
 
               is an interesting thing to catch a glimpse of while you're here. Lakes of the Clouds is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Timberland Camping Area is a glorious local campground; there's whitewater on Peabody River - West Branch for all you adrenaline junkies.
Great Gully Lodge Bed & Break is a tremendous place to get some rest; at Lakes of the Clouds you can make out Boott Spur. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the White Mountains. Lakes of the Clouds lays in the shadow of the White Mountains, and if you came to camp Dry River Campground is a great spot to do that. From a rain point of view Lakes of the Clouds is a pretty normal place; the wettest month of the year is usually August, that's the one that rains the most; February on the other hand is the driest.
This place, Lakes of the Clouds, it simply has so much outdoors amusing stuff. The skiing at Bretton Woods is magnificent. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Davis Path, and a great spot nearby is Burt Ravine. Lakes of the Clouds is a beautiful lake in the White Mountains.
