Beautiful Clay Pond has much to offer visitors. At Clay Pond during the summertime highs are in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Clay Pond dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights. Lake Camping Area. A tremendous location for whitewater paddling close to Clay Pond is Little Suncook, and a great close by hotel is Fairfield Inn By Marriott Manchester. Clay Pond is a wet place that gets much rainfall; November
is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month of the year is January. McIntyre is a very popular ski area in the vicinity, and do take a hike on the Broken Boulder Smith Pond Trail.
