The winter comes with highs in the 20's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Church Ponds temperatures dip to the 0's. Church Ponds truly is in the middle of a charming outdoors paradise. A common amount of rain falls here at Church Ponds; throughout the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This       lake is so wonderful. Camping at Passaconaway Campground is always a splendid experience, and you're most likely addicted to lakes, Little Sawyer Pond is one of those nearby. While you're here at Church Ponds you can take a hike along the Church Pond Loop Trail, and Sawyer River is a great whitewater spot close by. So many enjoyable things to do here in the White Mountains, too pleasant to be true. Camping is available at Pass Campground; the snow is great at                  Attitash Bear Peak. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Seasons at Attitash is a great choice, and probably you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Sawyer Pond is just a very short distance away. Sabbaday Falls is an inspiring place to stop at while you're here, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Waterville Valley. This lake is located in the wonderful White Mountains. Have a splendid hiking adventure along the Church Pond Trail; don't forget to take a good little tour to Downes Brook. What a location this is for outdoors people. A good sight of scenic Birch Hill is available from Church Ponds; in the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Swift River. Man, is there a lot of enjoyable things to do in the White Mountains.
