    A visit to Cheshire Pond is always a good idea. If you need a site to stay Gardner Super 8 Motel is a great choice, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Mountain Brook. The amount of rainfall that falls at Cheshire Pond is close to the national average; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Crotched Mountain has good slopes and a friendly  
   staff, and glide down the rapids of Contoocook River in a kayak.
Lakes are such serene places, why not pop by Mountain Brook Reservoir in the neighborhood of Cheshire Pond, and camping at Woodmore Campground is always a wonderful experience. If you like the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Cheshire Pond. If you came to camp Emerald Acres is a magnificent place to do that, and Colonial Hotel is a great location to get some rest. At Cheshire Pond Dam in the
 
               neighborhood of Cheshire Pond there are some interesting things to see, and you acquire a nice vista of Carter Hill from here.
This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Contoocook River - North Branch; in the neighborhood of Cheshire Pond you find a golf course called Shattuck Golf Course. At Cheshire Pond through the days of summer highs are in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and overnight lows at Cheshire Pond during the winter frequently plunge into the 0's. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. Contoocook Lake is a splendid lake next to Cheshire Pond, and do take a hike on the Harling Trail.
Hit the slopes at Wachusett Mountain nearby, and you can have a perfect hiking adventure along the Cascade Link Trail. This is a popular location for people from Keene, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Parker Trail.
