If you need a place to stay Hampton Inn Suites Tilton is a good choice; hiking is a popular thing to do around Center Pond; Catamount Trail is a fine local trail. High temperatures at Center Pond during the summertime months are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in       the 20's while the cold winter nights at Center Pond are in the 0's. Yep, outdoors exciting things to do are in fact plentiful here at Center Pond. Why not camp at Silver Lake Park Campground since you're here at Center Pond, and Loudon Country Club is a brilliant golf course nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Onemile Trail, and if you've had enough of Center Pond, Long Pond is close by. You absolutely ought to love Center                  Pond. Looking for some flowing water? Try Bumfagon Brook, and whitewater paddling is tremendous on Merrimack River. Camping is available at The Acord Campground, and the smiling folks of Laconia like to hang out nearby. This lake is so wonderful. The trees of Shaker State Forest are a good source of shade on hot summer days, and in case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Winnipesaukee River. A day on the slopes of Gunstock is just what you need; why not visit Center Dam while you're here. Center Pond is a good place of typical rain; most of the rain falls during May, and the driest month of the year is January.
