This lake is so wonderful. Pitcher Mountain State Forest is worth checking out, and this is a popular location for people from Keene. Getting to Davis Brook from Center Pond is trouble-free, and close by you locate the Pumpelly Trail which is a good hiking trail. Having a good time at       Center Pond is trouble-free. Upton Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and going for a hike on the Farmers Trail is always a wonderful adventure. This lake is so wonderful. The snow is good at Mount Sunapee, and if you get bored of Center Pond you could also check out nearby Chandler Meadow Pond. Otter Brook is a wonderful whitewater spot next to Center Pond; Chandler Meadow is an exciting swamp near Center Pond. You can run the rapids of Contoocook River - North Branch close to Center Pond, and Center Pond is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Idle Times Campground is a magnificent local campground. For the period of the warm months highs here at Center Pond reach the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are commonly in the 20's while Center Pond overnight low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 0's. From a precipitation point of view Center Pond is a relatively normal site; August is the wettest month with most rain while February is ordinarily the driest month.
