This lake is one of the great places here in the White Mountains. So much amusing stuff to do in the White Mountains, not sufficient time. There's some interesting stuff to see at Storage Dam at Weeks Mill near Cawley Pond; if you need a place to stay Tilton/Lake Winnipesaukee Super 8 Motel is a pleasant choice. This is no spot for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. A good nearby hotel is       Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites TILTON, and golf can be played at Den Brae Golf Course. If you like the outdoors, you'll go for Cawley Pond. Head up to Gunstock and strap some skis to your feet. Throughout the long summer days highs here at Cawley Pond reach the 80's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Cawley Pond drop into the                  0's. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Ramsey Trail, and since you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Laconia. Get your heart pumping on the delightful whitewater of Winnipesaukee River, and Tenney Mountain is a very popular ski area in close proximity. There's no way someone can get bored here in the White Mountains. Go for a hike on the The Wall Trail. There's so much to do here at Cawley Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Twin Tamarack Family Camping And RV Resort is a fine place for that. An average amount of rain falls at Cawley Pond; May is the wettest month with most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. Emerson Brook is a good place to check out, and Rollins Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop by. If you came to camp Davidson's Countryside Campground is a wonderful site to do that, and Eastman Hill is a peak you can observe from Cawley Pond. This lake is so wonderful.
