Trail is a good local trail, and if you need a site to stay Hooksett Kozy 7 Motel is a pleasant choice. This lake is so wonderful. The Catamount Trail offers hiking at its best, and McIntyre has nice slopes and a friendly staff.
Circle 9 Ranch Campground is a brilliant campground here, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Broken Boulder Smith Pond Trail. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Suncook River; Ames Brook
is in the neighborhood of Catamount Pond and is always a delight to pop by. Any time is a good time at Catamount Pond if you fancy the outdoors. A great spot for whitewater paddling near Catamount Pond is Little Suncook, and if
you're interested in hydro structures, you can go to Bear Brook State Park Dam. Summertime highs at Catamount Pond generally tend to be in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Catamount Pond.
