    Go to Caswell Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. You can see Mining Hill from Caswell Pond, and the slopes of Lyndon Outing Club are so inviting nobody can resist. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Gale River; Caswell Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Crazy Horse Campground is a great local campground. Caswell Pond gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation; the month of August is the  
   wettest with most of the rain while February is usually the driest month.
Looking for some flowing water? Try Bill Little Brook, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Reynolds Pond. The warmest time of the year at Caswell Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's while nighttime lows are usually in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with temperatures at Caswell Pond dipping down into the 0's
 
               through winter nights. Hiking along the Jericho Road Trail is glorious fun; if you need a location to stay Hampton Inn Littleton, NH is a perfect choice.
Camping at Littton/Lisbon KOA is always a great experience. Lakes are good; Flag Pond is a lake that's in close proximity to Caswell Pond. You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Ammonoosuc River has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot close by; do take a hike on the Cobble Hill Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things next to Caswell Pond.
Playing golf is lots of fun at Lisbon Village Country Club; what would winter be without some skiing at Burke Mountain. Have a good hiking adventure along the Chippewa Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Ammonoosuc Inn.

We have been campers on Ticklenaked Pond for 30 plus years and love it's pristine water and oh yes....the loons. We have now been seasonal campers for 8 years and plan on many more. This is a wonderful family campground with much to enjoy such as a fishing derby for the kids, pot luck dinners, karaoke, live bands at least a couple of times during the season, paddle boats to rent, swimming, boating, hot showers and many, many, wonderful folks.
The proprietors, Harry and Sandy Cushing are great hosts. Come join us for a night, a weekend or for the season.
