OK, this is a bad review. Carrigain Pond is one of the most inaccessible, difficult places to get into. It takes 7-9 miles one-way to get into, several of which is bushwhacking, as well as massive cliffs, rivers, and thicker forest then you will ever come across. Going here without being experienced is suicide.

If you are traveling by, why not stop by Carrigain Pond. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the White Mountains. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Carrigain Pond; Desolation Trail is a perfect local trail. There's so much to do here at Carrigain Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Passaconaway Campground is a tremendous site for that. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Stillwater By-Pass; Bretton Woods is a very popular ski area in the

| | vicinity. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Carrigain Pond with nighttime lows in the 50's. All through the winter the highs are typically in the 20's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Carrigain Pond drop into the 0's.
You'll need more than a day to explore everything Carrigain Pond has to offer, you can camp at Pass Campground, and Seasons at Attitash is a great spot to get some rest. You'll wish for more | |

hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things at Carrigain Pond. The Hancock Notch Trail offers hiking at its best; you can hit the slopes at Waterville Valley nearby. Carrigain Pond is a good location of typical rain; the wettest
month of the year is ordinarily August, that's the one that rains the most, and February on the other hand is the driest.
But wait, there's more amusing stuff to do in the White Mountains. After a long day outdoors Best Western
Silver Fox Inn is a good place to spend a night or two, and in the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Swift River. This lake is so wonderful. Visit Carrigain Branch while you're here
at Carrigain Pond. This lake is one of the great places here in the White Mountains.
This lake is so wonderful. The view of Mount Carrigain from Carrigain Pond is picturesque, and Pemigewasset River - North Fork has a nice whitewater paddling spot nearby.
