| | OK, this is a bad review. Carrigain Pond is one of the most inaccessible, difficult places to get into. It takes 7-9 miles one-way to get into, several of which is bushwhacking, as well as massive cliffs, rivers, and thicker forest then you will ever come across. Going here without being experienced is suicide. Says Matt LaCroix

and kayaking this stretch of Swift River, so you should be prepared for that. Pemigewasset River - North Fork has a good 12.4-mile-in-length category IV-V whitewater section nearby, the Lincoln portion.
