It takes 7-9 miles one-way to get into, several of which is bushwhacking, as well as massive cliffs, rivers, and thicker forest then you will ever come across. Going here without being experienced is suicide. Says Matt LaCroix The category I-III Bear Notch Road to Rocky Gorge section of Swift River is 4 miles long. You might get soaked whitewater rafting     and kayaking this stretch of Swift River, so you should be prepared for that.
