Carr Pond is a lake worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. Take some time to stop at Ames State Forest since you're here, and there's whitewater on Contoocook River for all you adrenaline junkies. Not far from Carr Pond, you'll discover Keyser Pond which is a striking lake, and there's perfect hiking along the Old Country Road. Don't leave Carr Pond without first going for a hike along the Wilmot Trail, and Keyser Pond Campground is a nice local campground.

| | Carr Pond is a rather wet place typically with a large amount of rainfall; November is when you get the most rain here while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Why not stop by Hoague-Sprague Dam while you're here, and dry warm beds await you at The Henniker Motel. For the duration of the summertime at Carr Pond highs are regularly in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's; | |

Mountain is one of those things you just should do, and since you're here and you like golf, you can stop at Duston Country Club Golf Course. The cheerful people of Concord like to hang out close by, and beautiful scenery and nice
skiing is what you acquire at Pats Peak. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Carr Pond; Wapack Trail is a splendid local trail. Now, you may assume that's plenty but there's
even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Carr Pond. One of the principal highlights of the surroundings of Carr Pond is Clement Hill; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at close by Rolf Pond.
