There are some great whitewater       spots on Mohawk River. There's so much to do here at Carr Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Ramblewood Cabins and Campground is a great site for that. You'll stumble on a lovely lake called First Connecticut Lake near Carr Pond, and if you came to camp Log Haven Campground is a tremendous spot to do that. High temperatures at Carr Pond throughout the days of summer are in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter                  come with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Carr Pond. This lake is so wonderful.
