A visit to Campton Pond is always a good idea. Campton Pond is a good spot of typical rain; August is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors fun stuff the White Mountains has to offer. Go for a hike on the Welch Mountain Trail, and a wonderful close by hotel is Days Inn Campton. Having a great time in the White Mountains is uncomplicated. Camping at

| | Goose Hollow Camp and RV Park is always a perfect experience; good hiking is available along the Cascade Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Campton Pond is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Branch Brook Fourseason Campground is a wonderful local campground, and delightful skiing awaits you at Tenney Mountain. Going for a hike on the Dickey Mountain Trail is always a pleasant adventure, and Branch Brook is a good whitewater spot nearby. This is no spot | |

for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Campton Pond Dam has fine water scenery and it's right next door to Campton Pond; an afternoon playing golf at Owl's Nest Golf Club is always a diversion.
The peak of Sunset Hill
can be seen from Campton Pond, and Pilgrim Inn and Cottages is a good place to get some rest. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Waterville Valley. This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant spot for whitewater paddling
close to Campton Pond is Mad River; Mad River is one of the streams close by that might be worth checking out.
This lake is located in the wonderful White Mountains. All through the summer at Campton Pond temperatures are commonly
in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Campton Pond.
