Yeah, come here to Butternut Pond for a great time. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Butternut Pond has to offer, you can camp at Loon Lake Campground. From a precipitation point of view Butternut Pond is a quite typical place; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while       February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. A perfect view of stunning Philbrick Hill is available from Butternut Pond; since you're here, you could visit Carter Brook. So much exciting stuff to do here at Butternut Pond, too perfect to be true. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Whaleback is near Butternut Pond; going for a hike on the West Ridge Trail is always a great adventure. Butternut Pond is a nice place to visit for more than one day, Crescent Campsites is a nice place to camp nearby; Croyden Brook is a perfect whitewater spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mascoma River; don't leave Butternut Pond without first going for a hike along the Dartmouth Outing Club Trail. Summertime at Butternut Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's; overnight lows through the winter for Butternut Pond tend to be in the 0's.
