Burton Pond is a lake worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can stop at Burton Pond Dam; dry warm beds await you at Leominster/Fitchburg Super 8 Motel. The snow is brilliant at Pats Peak; you can have a nice hiking adventure along the Old Country Road. All the water falling down from the sky makes Burton Pond a wet place; through the month of November you get the most rain around here, and September is when it's

| | the driest. There's so much to do here at Burton Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Pine Campgrounds is a wonderful place for that, and hiking along the Mitchell Hill Road is good fun. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Crotched Mountain, and getting to Temple Brook from Burton Pond is trouble-free. Pond has to offer, you can camp at Echo Valley. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Burton Pond. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Souhegan River, and Burton Pond is right
by the Wapack Trail. Lots of people from Manchester-Nashua come to Burton Pond. This lake is so wonderful. The peak of Fisk Hill can be distinguished from Burton Pond; if you come at the right time of year, Stony Brook offers some
fine whitewater. High temperatures at Burton Pond throughout the months of summer are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Burton Pond.
