Beautiful Burton Pond has much to offer visitors. There's so much to do here at Burton Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Echo Valley is a magnificent place for that, and dry warm beds await you at Leominster/Fitchburg Super 8 Motel. While you're here at Burton Pond you will meet lots of folks from nearby Manchester-Nashua; of course Temple Brook is a stunning stream that is worth visiting. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Pats Peak is right next door to Burton Pond. This lake is so wonderful. here at Burton Pond. If the weather is pretty, you acquire a wonderful view of Fisk Hill from Burton Pond; hiking is a popular thing to do around Burton Pond; Old Country Road is a brilliant local trail. All through the summertime
highs here at Burton Pond get into the 80's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with temperatures at Burton Pond dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. This lake
is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Mitchell Hill Road, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Stony Brook. If you came to camp Pine Campgrounds is a great place to do that,
and you can go for a hike on the Wapack Trail. A day on the slopes of Crotched Mountain is just what you need, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Blood Brook Reservoir. After
a long day outdoors Courtyard Fitchburg is a good spot to spend a night or two; not far from Burton Pond you'll come across Mill Brook Reservoir which is a pretty lake.
