Burke Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is so wonderful. Comfort Inn Yokens is a wonderful location to get some rest, and a tremendous spot is Godfreys Ledge. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Great Works River is so much fun, and in the vicinity of Burke Pond you find a golf course called Breakfast Hill Golf Club.

| | Summertime highs at Burke Pond mostly tend to be in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and overnight lows at Burke Pond throughout the winter mostly drop into the 10's. The high level of rainfall makes Burke Pond a rather wet site; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest.

for an overnight stay Shel-Al Camping Area is a wonderful spot to camp. Swamps don’t sound that good but Little River Swamp close to Burke Pond is reasonably good, and Jenress Beach is a beach close by that you can have a look at.
