A picturesque lake like       Eel Pond near Burke Pond is a great site to visit, and a great nearby hotel is Comfort Inn Yokens. All the outdoors cool stuff in the vicinity of Burke Pond will keep you coming back over and over. Jenress Beach is in the neighborhood of Burke Pond and is a pretty beach to visit, and camping at Burke Pond is tremendous fun, Shel-al Mobile Estate is a tremendous local campground. If you need a place to stay Bailey's Beach Resort is a wonderful choice; don't miss                  out on a splendid swamp; Little River Swamp is right here at Burke Pond. Burke Pond mostly gets a good deal of precipitation; during November this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is January. Float down the rapids of Atlantic Ocean in a kayak. All through the days of summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Burke Pond while overnight lows are usually in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are regularly in the 30's with temperatures at Burke Pond dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful.
