Go to Brindle Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. Sun River Campground is a brilliant campground nearby, and not far from Brindle Pond you get some perfect water scenery at Locke Lake Colony Dam. Stay the night at Green Tops Campground, and if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along the Campground Trail. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. The amount of rainfall that falls at Brindle Pond is close to the national average;

| | through the month of November you get the most rain around here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Nippo Lake Golf Club is close by, and not far from Brindle Pond you'll find Lower Suncook Lake which is a striking lake. Onemile Trail which is a nice hiking trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at close by Locke Lake. The Catamount Trail is a perfect hiking trail near Brindle Pond, and Wolfeboro Inn is a
great place to get some rest. Through the warm days of summer, highs usually are in the 70's at Brindle Pond. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's;
winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Brindle Pond. That right there is a heap already, but it continues; Brindle Pond has it all. The slopes of Gunstock are so inviting nobody can resist, and paddling on Suncook River is
so much fun. Abenaki is a good local ski area, and after a long day outdoors Red Roof Inn Loudon is a splendid place to spend a night or two.
