    The beauty of Bragg Pond is reason enough to stop by. Nearby lakes? Sure, Lake Metalak is in close proximity to Bragg Pond; in the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Androscoggin River. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Balsams Wilderness; hiking along the Bog Dam Trail is good fun. This lake is so wonderful. Royalty Inn is a delightful site to get some rest, and Bragg Pond is right by  
   the Jericho Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Log Haven Campground is always a good experience, and Mount Patience is easy to spot from Bragg Pond. For the duration of the summertime months highs here at Bragg Pond get into the 70's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 50's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Bragg Pond temperatures dip to the 0's. You just

I spent most of my summers growing up at cedar pond.We had our camp there and I remember the penny candy at the red and white striped store and the dog inky. There was also a dog named cedar that would visit all the camps in search of food. The lake would be freezing even in August and when we had to start a fire in the furnace the only wood we had to burn was obviously cedar and the smell was wonderful. And though the ''camp'' my Pepere had is no longer there, the wonderful memories are....
