If you are in Merrimack county it's always a good idea to stop by Bow Town Pond. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Bow Town Pond; Catamount Trail is a nice local trail, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Garvin Falls. And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do in close proximity to Bow Town Pond. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Plausawa Valley Country Club is close by, and perfect skiing awaits you at McIntyre.

by; great hiking is available along the Onemile Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Old Country Road, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Merrimack
River. After a long day outdoors Hampton Inn Concord/Bow is a wonderful site to spend a night or two, and there's some attention-grabbing stuff to distinguish at Garvins Falls Dam near Bow Town Pond. This lake is so wonderful. There's
so much to do here at Bow Town Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Cascade Park Campground is a magnificent site for that; Bow Brook is in the vicinity of Bow Town Pond and is always a pleasure to have a look at. If you
came to camp Twin Oaks Campground is a pleasant place to do that; Pats Peak has good slopes and a friendly staff. For the period of the warm days of summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Bow Town Pond. For the duration of the
dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Bow Town Pond.
