Many people like to go to Bog Pond. You'll locate a striking lake called Huntoon Pond near Bog Pond, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Tenney Mountain. Bear Mountain Rustic Campground LLC is a great campground nearby, and if you come at the right time of year, Fowler River offers some good whitewater. Good hiking is available along the Holt Trail, and during your tour here you'll meet some people from Concord for sure. obtain a tremendous sight of Bohannan Hill from Bog Pond. This lake is one of the great places here in the White Mountains. Throughout the summertime months at Bog Pond temperatures are mostly in the 80's with overnight lows in
the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Bog Pond. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things in the White Mountains. Hiking
is a popular thing to do around Bog Pond; Clark Trail is a splendid local trail, and dry warm beds await you at Red Carpet Inn and Suites Plymouth. This lake is so wonderful. Camp Kenwood & Evergreen is a pleasant local campground; drift down the rapids of Smith River in a kayak.
