A great spot for whitewater paddling near Blue Pond is Swift River, and Lovell River is a magnificent whitewater spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Cranberry Bog is a good lake right next door to Blue Pond; there is a glorious hiking trail close by called the Weetamoo Trail. Blue Pond is located in the White Mountains. Yeah, come up here to the White Mountains for a pleasant time. Summertime highs at Blue Pond commonly tend to be in the 80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The White Ledge Trail is a great hiking trail close to Blue Pond; lakes are such peaceful places, why not explore Mack Pond. This lake is so wonderful.
