     Hiking is a popular thing to do around Blow-me-down Pond; Hang Glider Trail is a wonderful local trail, and do explore Blow-me-down Brook if you're here at Blow-me-down Pond. A brilliant location for whitewater paddling close to Blow-me-down Pond is Connecticut River; of course, this is a glorious vicinity for folks who like lakes, Lake Runnemede is a lake in the vicinity. The annual rain here at Blow-me-down Pond is about average; of all the months in a  
   year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. Throughout the warm days of summer here at Blow-me-down Pond, high temperatures regularly reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Blow-me-down Pond plunge into the 0's.
Be careful coming to Blow-me-down Pond, you might not ever want to return back
 
               home again. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Blow-me-down Pond has to offer, you can camp at Mount Ascutney State Park Campground, and dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Claremont. Good hiking is available along the Futures Trail, and you can take a little tour to Blow-Me-Down Pond Dam while you're here at Blow-me-down Pond. At Blow-me-down Pond you can make out Dingleton Hill; after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Club Vacations AT ASCUTNEY MOUNTAIN RESORT is a good place to spend a night or two.
Very lovely scenery and good skiing is what you get at Ascutney. There's so much to do here at Blow-me-down Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Running Bear Camping Area is a perfect site for that. This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at Suicide Six is one of those things you just have to do; Bloods Brook is a great whitewater spot nearby. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Blow-me-down Pond. Playing golf is lots of fun at John P Larkin Country Club, and while you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Lebanon.
Windsor Municipal Forest is a forest in the vicinity of Blow-me-down Pond that you can go to. This lake is so wonderful. There's delightful hiking along the Slot Trail, and possibly you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Blow-Me-Down Pond is just a very short distance away.
