If you came to camp Hillcrest Campground and Cabins is a good location to do that, and Little Suncook is a wonderful whitewater spot close by. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Suncook River, and tremendous water scenery is available at Berry Pond Dam close to Blake Pond. | | place to spend a night or two. Throughout the warmest time of the year highs here at Blake Pond reach the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs all through the wintertime are ordinarily in the 20's with temperatures at Blake Pond dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights. slopes of nearby Gunstock, and hiking along the Catamount Trail is nice fun. Yeah, come here to Blake Pond for a tremendous time. A pretty lake like Eaton Pond in close proximity to Blake Pond is a splendid place to explore, and Blake
Pond is right by the Campground Trail. There's so much to do here at Blake Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Blake's Brook Campground is a nice spot for that; at Blake Pond you can spot Barton Hill. An average amount
of rainfall falls at Blake Pond; November is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Nippo Lake Golf Club is a wonderful golf course close by,
and dry warm beds await you at Fairfield Inn & Suites Hooksett. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Blake Pond you'll possibly meet some people from Laconia; you can have a good hiking adventure along the Onemile Trail.

 | Have been here a couple of times and its the best! We go with a group and get all the sites near the river/stream (perhaps the river/stream is Sun River)and its wonderful!!! No need to worry about the kids and/or dogs bothering anyone and they can just play in the water, fish, look for frogs, float on their tubes, etc. Everyone is very friendly and helpful, and the facilities are clean!!! We've stayed here a number of years and I couldn't ask for more from a camp ground . . . you're camping but still have all the conveniences right at hand! The spot we get near the water is by far the best! Country store is close and, for those who are interested, I can even use my cell phone (only if necessary, of course)without getting cut off! Thumbs up to Sun River Camp Ground!!! ... |
