Emerald Acres is a great local campground, and don't leave Black Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Harling Trail. If only every place had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great planet it would be. After a long day outdoors Gardner Super 8 Motel is a great location to spend a night or two, and close to Black Reservoir you locate a golf                  course called Monadnock Country Club. Float down the rapids of Stony Brook in a kayak, and you can go for a hike on the Parker Trail. What would winter be without some skiing at Wachusett Mountain.
