This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Cliffton's Country Camping is always a perfect experience, and close by you stumble on the Pumpelly Trail which is a delightful hiking trail. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. Holmes Hill is striking and can be spotted from Black Pond, and Mount Sunapee is a nice local ski area. Going for a hike on the Parker Trail is       always a pleasant adventure, and if you've had enough of Black Pond, Bagley Pond is close by. Why not take a look at close by Red Brook if you're here at Black Pond, and Black Pond Dam is a place that is in the vicinity of Black Pond. Summertime highs at Black Pond frequently tend to be in the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here                  at Black Pond. An average amount of rainfall falls at Black Pond; November is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is January. The Henniker Motel is a magnificent place to get some rest, and the skiing at Crotched Mountain is glorious. You could also take a look at White Pond while you're here at Black Pond; it's nearby, and camping is available at Oxbow Campground. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Best Western Sunapee Lake Lodge is a nice choice, and in case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Contoocook River - North Branch. Man, is there lots of amusing things to do close to Black Pond.
