The Wilderness Trail offers hiking at its best; on a gorgeous day you acquire a perfect sight of Owls Head from Black Pond. Put some time aside to spend at Franconia Falls if you're here at Black Pond; a good place for whitewater paddling is Pemigewasset River - Hancock Br.. For the period of the summertime months here at Black Pond, high temperatures regularly reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. All       through the winter highs are in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Black Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Little East Pond is a nearby lake that you could have a look at, and dry warm beds await you at Village Of Loon Mountain (Vri). Do have a look at Ice Pond near Black Pond, it's a pretty lake; the skiing at Loon Mountain is great. What a spot this is for outdoors people. Stay the night at Hancock Campground, and Black Pond is right by the Lincoln                  Brook Trail. Yep, outdoors amusing stuff truly is plentiful here in the White Mountains. Some close by water includes Birch Island Brook, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pemigewasset River - East Branch. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the White Mountains. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Franconia Brook Trail.
