While you're here at Black Mountain Pond you can take a hike along the Algonquin Trail, and the vista of pretty Black Mountain is delightful. Now, you may feel that's a lot but there's even more fun stuff to do here in the White Mountains. Skiing at Waterville Valley is one of those things you just must do, and if the weather

| | is great, you can go for a hike along the Black Mountain Pond Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Black Mountain Pond and you like golf, you can go to Waterville Valley Golf Course, and Black Mountain Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Goose Hollow Camp and RV Park is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful. During your trip to Black Mountain Pond you'll meet some people from Laconia for sure, and dry warm beds | |

await you at Rodeway Inn Moultonborough. Paddling on Smarts Brook is so much fun. Summertime highs at Black Mountain Pond ordinarily tend to be in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs
in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Black Mountain Pond fall into the 0's. You can never get enough of the great skiing at Loon Mountain, and on a splendid day you can take a hike along the
Sandwich Mountain Trail. If you came to camp Branch Brook Fourseason Campground is a nice place to do that, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Silver Fox Inn is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. Whohoo, so many entertaining
things in one place! The White Mountains is so good! Near Black Mountain Pond you locate wonderful spots like Sandwich Notch; Mad River has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot close by. The annual rain here at Black Mountain
Pond is about average; the month with most of the rain is August while February is commonly the driest month. The White Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
