    The beauty of Black Mountain Pond is reason enough to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Algonquin Trail; pretty scenery and pleasant skiing is what you get at Loon Mountain. If you go for the outdoors, you'll like Black Mountain Pond. This lake is so wonderful. There's splendid hiking along the Sandwich Mountain Trail, and the top of Black Mountain is easily distinguished from Black Mountain Pond.
Black Mountain Pond is located in
 
   the White Mountains. At Black Mountain Pond throughout the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's, and overnight lows at Black Mountain Pond all through the wintertime generally fall into the 0's. What would winter be without some skiing at Waterville Valley, and a tremendous site for whitewater paddling is Mad River.

               always go whitewater paddling on Smarts Brook, and why not camp at Branch Brook Fourseason Campground since you're here at Black Mountain Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Silver Fox Inn, and delightful hiking is available along the Black Mountain Pond Trail. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. You might want to pay a visit to Sandwich Notch while you're here at Black Mountain Pond, and if you need a spot to stay Valley Inn is a fine choice.
This site, the White Mountains, has so much outdoors fun things. If you came for an overnight stay Arcadia Tent and Trailer Park is a brilliant site to camp, and you'll hit upon a delightful lake called Guinea Pond. The amount of precipitation that falls at Black Mountain Pond is close to the national average; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while February is ordinarily the driest month. So much amusing stuff to do in the White Mountains, not enough time. Playing golf is lots of fun at Waterville Valley Golf Course, and there are plenty of people from Laconia here at Black Mountain Pond.
