If you are in this part of New Hampshire make sure to pay a visit to Bixby Pond. Gunstock is a splendid local ski area. There's so much to do here at Bixby Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Blake's Brook Campground is a glorious place for that. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at McIntyre is delightful; if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Catamount Trail. is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Suncook River; if you came to camp Circle 9 Ranch Campground is a tremendous location to do that.
For the period of the summertime months highs here at Bixby Pond reach
the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Bixby Pond dip into the 0's. Don't forget to take a great little
visit to Blake Brook, and don't leave Bixby Pond without first paying a visit to Steeles Falls. The summit of Barton Hill can be distinguished from Bixby Pond; an exciting thing to take a look at right next door to Bixby Pond is Bixby
Pond Dam.
This lake is so wonderful. Bixby Pond is a location with many visitors from Laconia; dry warm beds await you at Northwood Motel. There are some great whitewater spots on Little Suncook; on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the Onemile Trail.
