Many people like to go to Bixby Pond. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Suncook River close to Bixby Pond, and as expected Blake Brook flows through this vicinity. Good hiking is available along the Campground Trail, and if you need a location to stay Fairfield Inn & Suites Hooksett is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. The slopes of McIntyre are so inviting nobody can resist, and dry warm beds await you at Red Roof Inn Loudon. If only every place had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great earth it would be. A short visit to Steeles Falls is always worthwhile, and what would winter be without some skiing at Gunstock. And if that's not sufficient, there's a lot more to do next to Bixby Pond. While you're here at Bixby Pond you will meet lots of people from close by Laconia, and Bixby Pond is a tremendous site to visit
for more than one day, Circle 9 Ranch Campground is a tremendous site to camp nearby. Bixby Pond Dam is striking and it's near Bixby Pond, and get your pulse rate up on the glorious whitewater of Little Suncook.
Why not take a
refreshing hike along the Onemile Trail, and Blake's Brook Campground is a wonderful campground nearby. All through the summer at Bixby Pond temperatures are typically in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's usually in the
50's. All through the wintertime highs are frequently in the 20's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for Bixby Pond tend to be in the 0's.
