Skiing at Pats Peak is one of those things you just must do, and Bradford Pines State Forest is a good local forest. All through the warm days of summer at Billings Pond highs are usually in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's while Billings Pond nighttime low       temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. People from Concord love to come to Billings Pond, and why not camp at Lake Massasecum Park and Campground while you're here at Billings Pond. Man, is there a heap of enjoyable things to do near Billings Pond. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mount Sunapee while you're here; dry warm beds await you at The Henniker Motel. Best Western Sunapee Lake Lodge is a great place to get some                  rest; if you want to hit the beach, Wadleigh State Beach is around here. This lake is so wonderful. The sight of Cedar Hill from Billings Pond is stunning, and if you're a golfer then a great close by course is The Country Club of New Hampshire. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Wilmot Trail is always a delightful adventure, and why not explore close by Hoyt Brook if you're here at Billings Pond. If only every spot had this much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great earth it would be. There are good sites to explore along the Monadnock Sunapee Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Oxbow Campground is a wonderful place to camp. Go for a hike on the Clark Trail, and a fine place for whitewater paddling is Contoocook River. Billings Pond is a good place of common rainfall; November is when you get the most rain here, and January is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful.
