The high level of rainfall makes Beaver Ponds a pretty wet site; November is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month of the year is September. The slopes of McIntyre are so inviting nobody can resist; if you're here, you could also have a look at charming Baboosic Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Merrimack River; Little Baboosic Lake is a nearby lake that you could have                  a look at. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Mitchell Hill Road. There's so much to do here at Beaver Ponds that you need to camp here for a while, Field & Stream Travel Trailer is a good place for that. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll fancy Beaver Ponds. If you come at the right time of year, Piscataquog River offers some brilliant whitewater, and Hill - Brook Motel is a delightful location to get some rest. If you're visiting Beaver Ponds from Manchester-Nashua, you won't be the only one, and let's not forget Joe English Brook which is a stream that you may bump into while here. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Beaver Ponds, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
