The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Pats Peak; great hiking is available along the Onemile Trail. Beaver Pond mostly gets lots of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is frequently November, that's the one that rains the most; the driest of the months is January. This lake is so wonderful. This is a tremendous region for people who like lakes. Long Pond is a lake around here; at Beaver Pond you always meet someone from Manchester-Nashua.

| | This lake is so wonderful. McIntyre is a very popular ski area close by; get yourself into a kayak and hit Piscataquog River - South Branch. If the weather is pretty, you get a splendid sight of Kuncanowet Hills from Beaver Pond; Beaver Pond is a good place to visit for more than one day, Autumn Hills Campground is a good place to camp nearby. Enjoy a round of golf at Countryside Golf Club not far from Beaver Pond, and get covered with water paddling on Piscataquog | |

River. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Beaver Pond, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the winter at
Beaver Pond temperatures plunge to the 10's. Be careful coming to Beaver Pond, you might not ever want to return back home again. Days Inn Concord is a perfect place to get some rest, and Skypark Campground is a great local campground.
Lakes are great; Moonshine Pond is a lake that's near Beaver Pond, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Beaver Pond; Mitchell Hill Road is a delightful local trail. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on
down to Beaver Pond. A glorious nearby hotel is Hampton Inn Concord/Bow, and you can go for a hike on the Old Country Road.

I walked our youngest child, Deborah Jean, in a stroller on our beautiful back roads. We have a wonderful family atmosphere of folks living here and a law enforcement that does a fabulous job keeping our town safe. We love to fish, swim and boat; and although we had a setback with the dam break for the summer of 2006, we look forward to seeing the repairs of our dam to once again restore our beautiful body of water. We have seen the population grow over the years with wonderful families ready to discover what we have here in Webster. Our four children all agree they thoroughly enjoyed growing up here.... |

Mostly seasonal sites but had primitive area out back for tenting. Very peacfull. My only complaint was with one of the annual campers. Real jerk, he kept saying Hey Man every five seconds...RockNBirch in Henniker is GREAT...Lots of fun at RockNBirch. The owner is great and insures his guests have a good time. Snowmobile right from R&B for awsome winter fun. Summer brings good Bass fishing right from campground. Autumn is almost as colorful as the campers at RockNBirch...stop in for some excitment soon.... |

Ragged Mountain
 | 26 miles away I went to this mountain with my school and it was a really fun expiernce and I am planning to go back with my school some time soon.......n 18-hole golf course, was purchased by Salt Lake City based resort developer RMR-Pacific, an affiliate of Pacific Group. Since then, total acreage has increased to 2,000 and plans call for 65 further acres of slopes. Upon acquiring the mountain property, the new owners invested over $2 million into the resort for renovations including 14,000 feet of new snow making pipe, 25 new energy efficient snow guns, new snow groomers, a new Wonder carpet lift for beginners, chairlift improvements including reviving lift service to Spear Mountain, base lodge renovations including new carpet, the repair of steps and outside brick walkways, the addition of seasonal lockers and an outdoor fire pit, and adding two new restaurants.
