Sure, Otter Brook Pond is right next door to Beaver Pond, and since you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Manchester-Nashua.       This lake is so wonderful. Pats Peak is a very popular ski area close at hand; you can stay the night at Seven Maples Campground. Crotched Mountain has nice slopes and a friendly staff; a swamp like Spruce Swamp near Beaver Pond has lots of interesting things to see. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things right next door to Beaver Pond. This is a wonderful vicinity for people who like lakes. Mud Pond is a lake around here, and a spree to Picnickers                  Beach is always a glorious idea. Get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Contoocook River. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Parker Trail, and enjoy a round of golf at Monadnock Country Club. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Beaver Pond; Mitchell Hill Road is a glorious local trail. There's so much to do here at Beaver Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Field'n Forest Recreation Area is a good place for that. Beaver Pond gets a common amount of precipitation; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and January is when it's the driest. For the period of the summer months here at Beaver Pond, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 70's while night lows are ordinarily in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Beaver Pond are in the 10's.
