You'll need more than a day to look at everything Beaver Pond has to offer, you can camp at Seven Maples Campground. Through the days of summer, highs usually are in the 80's at Beaver Pond. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Beaver Pond during the winter mostly       descend into the 0's. Swamps like West Peterborough Marsh are fun to pop by, and after a long day outdoors E.F. Lane Hotel is a pleasant site to spend a night or two. Get drenched paddling on Contoocook River; Half Moon Pond Dam is a gorgeous place, beyond doubt worth a visit. This place, Beaver Pond, it clearly has so much outdoors cool stuff. Do explore Half Moon Pond next to Beaver Pond, it's a beautiful lake, and in close proximity to Beaver Pond you                  come across a golf course called Monadnock Country Club. What would winter be without some skiing at Crotched Mountain, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Parker Trail. Very stunning scenery and pleasant skiing is what you get at Pats Peak. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Field'n Forest Recreation Area, and some nearby water includes Brush Brook. But wait, there's more to do in the neighborhood of Beaver Pond. The cheerful people of Keene like to hang out nearby, and hiking along the Harling Trail is delightful fun. Take a hike on the Pumpelly Trail, and if you need a site to stay Super 8 Gardner is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Contoocook River - North Branch; the vista of picturesque Greenwood Hill is splendid.
