Summertime highs at Beaver Pond usually tend to be in the 70's. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Beaver Pond plunge into the 0's. Beaver Pond is one of the lakes here in the White Mountains. Take a hike on the Old Locke Road Path; Red Hill Pond Dam is a place that is next to Beaver Pond. There's so       much to do here at Beaver Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Pine Woods Campground is a splendid site for that, and a nice spot for whitewater paddling is Cold Brook. A good deal of precipitation falls at Beaver Pond; the wettest month of the year is commonly November, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month of the year is January. The top of Black Snout Mountain is easily observed from Beaver Pond, and you can have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Red Path. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Bearcamp River, and a pretty lake like Jackman Pond is a magnificent place to stop at. All the outdoors enjoyable things next to Beaver Pond will keep you coming back time and again.
