The Mitchell Hill Road is a perfect hiking trail near Beaver Dam Pond, and Beaver Dam Pond is not far at all from Manchester-Nashua.       You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things at Beaver Dam Pond. Beaver Dam Pond is a nice place to camp, Autumn Hills Campground is a nice place, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Piscataquog River - South Branch. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Beaver Dam Pond has to offer, you can camp at Friendly Beaver Camp Ground; skiing at Pats Peak is one of those things you just should do. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a pleasant                  time here at Beaver Dam Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Take a look at nearby Campbell Swamp, and if you're a golfer then a tremendous nearby course is Stonebridge Country Club. If you come at the right time of year, Piscataquog River offers some great whitewater; pleasant skiing awaits you at McIntyre. Beaver Dam Pond is a wet site that gets much rainfall; all through November this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is September. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Beaver Dam Pond with overnight lows in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's; night lows at Beaver Dam Pond through the wintertime typically plunge into the 10's.
