Beard Pond is not the only place close by, Gregg Mill Pond is a close by lake; dry warm beds await you at Hill - Brook Motel. Beard Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; throughout the month of November you get the most rain around here, and January meanwhile is the driest month. While you're here at Beard Pond you can take a hike along the Mitchell Hill Road, and Pats Peak has delightful slopes and a friendly staff.       This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of people from Manchester-Nashua here, and for you golfers we recommend nearby Stonebridge Country Club. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things at Beard Pond. Have a fine hiking adventure along the Old Country Road, and not far from Beard Pond you obtain some delightful water scenery at Gregg Mill Pond Dam. This lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at McIntyre in the neighborhood, and whitewater paddling is fine on Piscataquog River. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a pleasant time here at Beard Pond. If you need a spot to stay The Henniker Motel is a fine choice; some of the water close by flows, like Hillside Brook. If you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Piscataquog River - South Branch, and if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Wapack Trail.
