Do stop by Beard Pond while you're in this part of New Hampshire. After a long day outdoors Hill - Brook Motel is a good spot to spend a night or two, and there are plenty of folks from Manchester-Nashua here. All the water falling down from the sky makes Beard Pond a wet place; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and January is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Take a side journey to Hillside Brook, and a splendid close by hotel is Milford Motor Motel. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Cold Springs Camp Resort; why not take a refreshing hike along the Mitchell Hill Road. Camping at Autumn Hills Campground is always a nice experience, and paddling on Piscataquog River is so much fun.

and Piscataquog River - South Branch has a perfect whitewater paddling spot close by. All through the long summer days at Beard Pond highs are typically in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. The wintertime
brings highs down to the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Beard Pond fall into the 10's. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Beard Pond. Not far from Beard Pond you get some wonderful
water scenery at Gregg Mill Pond Dam.
Gotta ski! McIntyre is a splendid place to do that, and Beard Pond is right by the Wapack Trail. Any time is a delightful time at Beard Pond if you like the outdoors. A lake close by is Daniels Lake; if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Stonebridge Country Club is in close proximity.
