The beauty of Beard Pond attracts many people from all around. If you're a golfer then a glorious nearby course is Stonebridge Country Club; why not go to Gregg Mill Pond Dam since you're here. A good vista of picturesque Browns Hill is available from Beard Pond, and while you're here, you could visit Hillside Brook. This lake is so wonderful. Get drenched paddling on Piscataquog River - South Branch; do explore Gregg Mill Pond, it's a beautiful lake. After a long day outdoors Hill - Brook Motel is a great place to spend a night or two, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Piscataquog River. This lake is so wonderful. | |

There's so much to do here at Beard Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Autumn Hills Campground is a great place for that; there's great hiking along the Wapack Trail. And that's not all you can do here at Beard Pond. Don't
leave Beard Pond without first going for a hike along the Old Country Road; dry warm beds await you at The Henniker Motel. At Beard Pond you always meet someone from Manchester-Nashua, and if you're here, you could also stop by beautiful
Bailey Pond. Beard Pond is a reasonably wet place mostly with a great deal of rainfall; November is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is January. Good hiking is available along the Mitchell Hill Road, and the
slopes of Pats Peak are so inviting nobody can resist. For the duration of the months of summer at Beard Pond highs are typically in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Through the winter the highs are regularly
in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Beard Pond sink into the 10's.
