You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at King Pine while you're here, and a nice place to camp here at Bean Pond is Whit's End Campground. Hiking along the Hammond Trail is splendid fun, and get dripping wet paddling on Cold Brook. Bodge Brook flows through this neighborhood, and the view of Bayle Mountain is beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. What would winter be without       some skiing at Abenaki; you're sure to come across some friendly folks from Laconia here. Bean Pond typically gets much precipitation; November is the wettest month with most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things in close proximity to Bean Pond. Lakes? Sure, Moody Pond is around here, and going for a hike along the Weetamoo Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Having a perfect                  time in the White Mountains is simple. Rodeway Inn Moultonborough is a tremendous site to get some rest, and if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the Piper Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Indian Mound Golf Club is a good golf course nearby, and if you need a place to stay Wolfeboro Inn is a magnificent choice. But wait, there's more enjoyable stuff to do in the White Mountains. Paddling on Lovell River is so much fun, and not far from Bean Pond you'll stumble on Conner Pond which is a gorgeous lake. At Bean Pond through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's, and night lows at Bean Pond through the winter regularly sink into the 0's. The White Mountains scenery is always beautiful. What a spot this is for outdoors people.
