The skiing at Pats Peak is nice, and a great close by hotel is The Henniker Motel. So many exciting things to do at The Bay, so little time. Take a hike on the Holt Trail, and camping is available at Camp Kenwood & Evergreen. The annual rain here at The Bay is about average; during the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is January. This lake is so wonderful. | | come at the right time of year, Blackwater River offers some great whitewater. At The Bay all through the summer highs are in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are frequently in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at The Bay. The Bay is located in the White Mountains. came for an overnight stay Cold Brook Campground is a great location to camp. Lakes? Sure, Horseshoe Pond is close by; Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites TILTON is a great spot to get some rest. The Bay is right by the Melton Falls
Trail; if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Mountain Brook. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Smith River; there are other places here than The Bay, for example Elbow Pond. So many entertaining
things to do in the White Mountains, not sufficient time. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Ragged Mountain is in the neighborhood of The Bay, and from The Bay you acquire a brilliant view of Boston Hill. This spot rocks, just check out all the enjoyable stuff to do in close proximity to The Bay.
